Mr. Summers graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1982 with a dual major in Business Management and Industrial Engineering. He obtained his MBA from Memphis State in 1995 and graduated “Summa Cum Laude”. For over 12 years, Mr. Summers specialized in employee selection, risk management and the development and implementation of corporate turn-around strategies for problem accounts and corporate assets. After years of being a frustrated entrepreneur, he started Carolina Profiles, Inc in 1994. Mr. Summers currently has over 275 clients in the US and serves as a Corporate Trainer for Profiles International covering North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Bryan is an SMEI and HRIS certified trainer specializing in selection and management of your #1 resource….PEOPLE. “Do what you love and you will never work another day of your life”.

F. Ira Summers joined the team in 2007. He is account service specialist with all of the clients for Carolina Profiles, INC. He specializes in servicing and training of the clients. He also assists the Strategic Business Partners with client training and team development service.

Sales Associate

John McCann’s experience is grounded in the real world of business. In his presentations, he shares proven solutions and strategies he developed while working with major companies across the country. He has been responsible for product launches, performance of multi-state retail operations, and training for a wide variety of consumers and sales representatives.

He began his career with Johnson Wax in 1979as a Territory Manager. Three years later he was promoted to the field training department, where he developed motivational and product use seminars for customers and the sales force.

His first love is motivation, a topic he has addressed in national publications. John has conducted successful seminars and training programs for Kodak, Bristol Myers, USAir, Notre Dame University, Dartmouth, and the US Postal Service. His work has taken him to Canada, Australia and New Zealand. In 1998, John left Johnson Wax to focus on consulting. He travels extensively as a conference speaker, lecturer and trainer.

Anita Ricker has been with Walters State Community College since 1995 where she has focused on training solutions for business and industry. Her educational backgrounds includes: AS-Computer Science from WSCC, BS-Computer Science-ETSU, MBA-ETSU and EdD in Private and Post-Secondary Leadership.

Dr. Ricker provides training for numerous computer application sessions and co-facilitates a leadership program to help individuals “think like a leader”. She is currently serving as the Assistant Dean of Community Education for Walters State and lives in Greeneville, TN. In her role, she works with business and industries of all sizes to provide corporate customized training solutions. In addition, she provides leadership for the adult evening programs offered at the Greene Technology Center.

Furthermore, she serves on the board of the Locust Springs Christian Retreat Center, president-elect of the local Rotary Club, and numerous advisory councils. Her professional passion is to provide educational services that drives economic development for the region. “If we do our jobs correctly, we assist companies in growing, increasing productivity and becoming better community members that serve which drives economic development” stated Dr. Ricker.

David Moff, SPHR, is Chief Executive Officer of The HR Group, Inc. During his 30-year business career, he has been the Senior HR official for three companies that were the market leaders in their industry. These range from a 2200 employee manufacturing facility with union representation to a small 100 employee privately-owned company where he built the HR function from the ground up to a thriving 600 employee company that was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in the Triad.

David possesses expertise in the areas of executive coaching and team development. His background also includes teaching HR Fundamentals at the college level. He consulted for two years with a private philanthropic foundation and helped them hire their first President. David achieved the highest professional designation by the Human Resources Certification Institute, Senior Professional in Human Resources. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.

In 2002, the North Carolina State Council recognized David as the Outstanding Professional of the Year for the state. Also, he was named Small Business Person of the year in 2006 by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. David has served in numerous positions of the Human Resource Management Association of Greensboro including President. His non-profit Search Committee experience includes: United Way of Greensboro, Family Life Council, Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, Beth David Synagogue, North Carolina Hillel, Blumenthal Jewish Home for the Aged and the Moses Cone Wesley Long Community Health Foundation.

Marketing and Customer Service

Tatyana St. Germain joined Carolina Profiles in December of 2004 and has been leading Carolina Profiles marketing, business, and team development efforts through business showcasing and educational programs. She has also been actively involved in client management and has worked with Profiles clients across the US, Canada, Europe and Asia. She holds a degree in Linguistics and English Translation from the Liberal Arts University in Russia. After moving to the United States, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Communication and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the Appalachian State University. Between 2000 and 2004, she collaborated with the University’s International Department and was a cultural advisor to students studying languages. Presently, she continues to volunteer her cultural expertise to the local community and to missionaries traveling to the Russian speaking countries of the former Soviet Union.
